Seattle to San Francisco

We spent our last few days in Seattle taking it easy. We woke up to snow, ate out at a local Mexican restaurant, did the underground tour through the buried ground level of the Seattle downtown, spent time with Tim and his family, and visited more Starbucks and playgrounds.

We left Seattle on Saturday, November 4 by overnight (23hr) train to SAN Francisco. The scenery through southern Washington and Oregon was beautiful as we followed the rivers down the West coast through Portland, Vancouver WA, and through many towns with river houseboats. We were quite happy to be inside a warm carriage heading south as it winter was truly setting in outside.

We we are staying in an Airbnb, the host is wonderful, been hosting for many years now so there’s everything a tourist could want to know and use here. Will update you soon on our San Francisco adventures. We miss you all, and Griffin lots too.
